So You Wanna Be A Marxist

7:58

Song Description:

Somehow our country’s education system has done, and is doing,

a pathetic job making the evil effects of Marxism clear to younger generations.

To paraphrase a famous quote, “if we don’t learn from history, we will be doomed to repeat it.

If one has been well-informed of the dangers of such a thing coming into existence in our own country,

nobody in their right mind should want it to be even remotely possible. Think about it!

Lyrics:

Please listen and pay close attention
to an essay that needs to be heeded.
It’s not Groucho but Karl I’m reviewing,
and a thoughtful discussion is needed.

Karl Marx theorized a classless state,
an impossible utopia
where all are considered as equals
and life is a cornucopia.

Philosophical topics are valid
if our schooling is going to be fruitful.
But for us to acquire the best knowledge,
we’re depending on teaching that’s truthful.

Marx said there’d be no private property
and each person would have all they’d need.
So magically Dick, Jane, and Sally
from envy and want would be freed.

But Karl didn’t stop to consider
that socialists won’t be inventive,
and man’s innovation will suffer
if there’s nothing proposed as incentive.

Production of goods is neglected,
and the shopkeepers’ shelves are quite bare.
Thus a black market thrives, while the rulers connive
to get more than their equitable share.

Philosophical topics are valid
if our schooling is going to be fruitful.
But for us to acquire the best knowledge
we’re depending on teaching that’s truthful.

Ah, but wait! There’s been a disclaimer!
That should shoot our friend Karl’s thinking down.
He says a short-term dictatorship’s needed
‘til the proles get established in town.

Though the time is, of course non-specific,
He won’t say what’s considered short-term;
While the power is being reimagined,
Who’ll really be turning the worm?

Marx assumed that revolt was required
to get rid of the bourgeoisie notions.
Then the workers could just assume leadership,
and set all of the new rules in motion

Philosophical topics are valid
if our schooling is going to be fruitful.
But for us to acquire the best knowledge
we’re depending on teaching that’s truthful.

Propaganda supported by Marxists
glosses over dystopian states.
They create with their like-minded tyrants,
trapping people in lifestyles they hate.

Thus here’s a short list of examples
which were stricken by Marxism rule.
You will notice they all suffered genocides,
since the thugs who controlled them were cruel.

First on the list were the communists
led by Stalin in the Soviet States,
who banished the millions that went to the gulags.
Brainwashed fools sent old friends to their fate.

Then along came the Chairman named Mao.
He proceeded to kill millions more.
Though Red China proclaimed they were caring,
no one there has yet evened the score.

Revolution by Marxists in Cuba
put in place a crook known as Fidel.
He killed thousands of folks that resisted his purge.
Cuba’s standard of living soon fell.

 Kim Jong-un strangulates North Korea.
He has rockets that threaten as well.
Starvation and torture haunt citizens there.
Refugees have described it as Hell.

So it’s obvious Marxism’s evil..
It’s adherents should wake up and tell
that the odor around them is something that’s rotten.
It’s certainly not roses they smell.

I’m hoping that you are awake now,
to acknowledge how much is at stake.
We can’t all just sit back and allow this to happen.
Our freedom and lives are at stake.

Yes, our freedom and lives are at stake.

…freedom and lives are at stake…

…freedom and lives are at stake…
