Security

5:38

Song Description:

With the current chaos in the discussion/application of police protection,

and public safety in general, we should personally take steps

to discourage criminal access to our own homes.

Lyrics:

We may not have it,
but we want it.
What’s that we’re needing?
Se-cur-i-ty.

Who’s that you’re calling?
A policeman?
But wait a second,
why should they come?

When people called for
cutting spending,
who would be paid for
our defending?

Crime rates exploding?
What’d they expect?
A consequence of
malign neglect.

It’s up to us now,
for our own safety
to buy and carry
for protection.

If you want to feel like you’re the master of your castle,
here’s a couple options that should cause the crooks to run.
A dog that barks when danger lurks could help avoid a hassle,
and thieving thugs won’t like it if they know you have a gun.

Yes, dogs or guns will both require responsibility,
as owners you will always need to keep them in good shape.
They can be used in combination quite effectively,
in preventing home intrusions, and murder, theft, or rape.

If all us good guys
lose our firearms,
what then will happen
when thieves break in?

The rich elitists
are quite content
to be surrounded
by bodyguards.

It’s so obvious,
quite plain to see.
Our lives aren’t valued.
Not you and me.

There’s an Amendment
that has our backs.
Our founding fathers
sure had it right.

It’s really madness
when they expect
for us to give up
without a fight.

Don’t allow the politicians to restrict our access
to things I guarantee will help us keep our homes secure.
The times are sketchy now, and we must all protect ourselves.
Just accept that as a fact which we quite sadly must endure.

If you want to feel like you’re the master of your castle,
here’s a couple options that should cause the crooks to run.
A dog that barks when danger lurks could help avoid a hassle,
and thieving thugs won’t like it if they know you have a gun.
