Questions

5:39

Song Description:

There are more questions than answers in every life.

Our unanswered questions concerning God will be explained

in the after life, but it will require faith to get there.

Lyrics:

Descriptions of our afterlife

and how we’ll live in Heaven

have Christians looking forward to

God’s further explanation.

The questions that run through my mind have not been clearly answered

I have shared them with believers who just speculate as well.

I’ll read my Bible, pray to God

to put my mind at ease,
and use my time on earth, prepare. I know his plans will please.

Who will I see with my first look at someone’s face in Heaven?

Can I expect it to be Christ
or maybe an apostle?

What will the greeting there be like? Will I hear Angels singing?

How will my senses be attuned? Will sight and sound be perfect?

God, in Revelations said he will make all things new. “Write this down,” he said. “This is trustworthy and true”.

Will there be smells like lilac blooms that fill my mind with mem’ries? When interacting may I touch

and feel, in turn, caresses?

Will there be things that I may miss, like pets, will they be there?

My patience is required, in time I’ll have illumination.

Roland Burbank

I’ll read my Bible, pray to God,
to put my mind at ease,
and use my time on earth, prepare, I know his plans will please.

These questions do not create fear, I treat them all as myst’ries.

My faith assures me I’ll be blessed by love that then surrounds me.

What joy to know there’ll be no pain and no more tears are flowing.

I’m looking really forward to His home where I’ll be going.

I’m really looking forward to God’s home where I’ll be going.

I’m really looking forward to God’s home where I’ll be going.

I’m really looking forward t0 God’s home where I’ll be going.
