Prophecy
Questions 5:41Song Description:
Biblical prophets were once the guiding lights in the dark confusion of life.
Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament predictions, and became the ultimate prophet,
urging us to accept his offer of eternal life.

Lyrics:
I have wondered what it took three thousand years ago
for prophets then to be believed, how really did they know that
in a future unknown time
some things would come to pass. The ones that had the story right were often times harassed.
The Bible shares man’s history
and how the die was cast.
Its pages tell us what’s in store.
The views are unsurpassed……..unsurpassed.
But things worked out, and Jesus came to set the record straight.
His words were true and we were blessed. Why’d we respond with hate?
A savior was predicted, who’d rescue Israel.
The date of his appearance was difficult to tell.
The prophets spoke and Jesus came
to set the record straight.
His words were true, and we were blessed. Why’d we respond with hate?
Jesus was nonviolent.
He didn’t care for might.
He came to save us all from sin, not lead us in a fight.
There was a bad reaction
to his calling our attention
to sinful things we do and love. We’d rather they weren’t mentioned.
So thus a group of haters
hung Jesus on the cross.
They hadn’t listened close enough to recognize their loss.
Where have all the prophets gone who speak the word of God?
Are false ones posing as we speak behind some grand facade?
There is no need for any more since Jesus came to save.
His life was all the proof we need to save us from the grave.
Reality is in God’s word,
I’d recommend indeed.
Thus you could gain eternal life
which would be worth the read……….It would be worth the read.
Christ’s life fulfilled the prophecies, though there were those who scorned the thought he’ll triumph in the end. He’ll crush the one who’s horned.
But Christ will triumph in the end he’ll crush the guy who’s horned.
He’ll crush the Devil for us, The haters are forewarned.
The haters are forewarned.
