In The Midst
Redemption 5:50Song Description:
God is well aware of the struggles human beings endure.
He is there for believers when the challenges of earthly life
persist. It is these challenges that prepare us for our future in Heaven.

Lyrics:
In the midst of all the chaos our Lord may place a lesson,
but learning it may take some faith, and a willingness to listen.
Why do I rage at my mistakes when I am only human?
I’m the way that God has made me, he does not not expect perfection.
The same behavior can be seen in my critiques of others.
I’m supposed to be forgiving of my sisters and my brothers.
There’s really nothing I could do that God would be surprised.
He’s well aware of how I think, and yet by him I’m prized. I am prized.
Then there’s moments when I wallow deep in my own self-pity,
Why do I do this to myself? Pouting faces are not pretty.
Why don’t I turn to Jesus when by this earthly realm I’m stressed.
I could use His word as guidance, and put my struggling mind at rest.
I know there’s things that hold me back, that can keep me off my stride.
I increase my own frustration if I’m succumbing to my Pride.
Then it’s Envy that comes creeping, gets me feeling insecure.
And jealousy may steal the stage if then my faith in God is poor.
There’s really nothing I could say that God has never heard.
He’s so familiar with my gripes, He knows them word for word. Word for word.
But now I have a plan in place, when Satan pulls my trigger.
I think about God’s saving grace, give my faith it’s needed vigor.
Realizing God accepts me, and knowing I’m forgiven,
Should give me strength to calm my mind, help me worship as I’m living.
Even in the worst of times we shouldn’t feel neglected,
Jesus gave our future hope when he was resurrected.
In the midst of all our woes, when we are in despair,
He is right beside us, don’t forget he’s always there. He’s always there.
