Comic Relief
Politically Incorrect 5:35Song Description:
There is a widely held obsession with comic book heroes and their penchant
to counter violence with violence, but our society openly encourages passive
response and trust in government protection. This song highlights certain
political attempts to limit access to firearms to the population by politicians
while protecting themselves with armed guards. Should citizens be able to
make the decision for self-protection through concealed carry, while well-
protected elites deny them the ability to do so?

Lyrics:
The DC comics taught us how Jor-El worked out a plan
to send his son to Earth, who then became our Superman.
Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash and Aquaman, Martian Manhunter and the Batman, resolved to take a stand.
Just why they formed the Justice League speaks volumes for our plight, We fantasize the ways we’d get protection from a fight.
As fact approaches fiction, Hollywood just fans the flames. Unfortunately, all these action movies are not games.
KaBoom! POW! AAARRRGH! Splat! Holy legislation, Batman!!
Jerry’s got his pen out again!!!!
Then Marvel got into the fray and introduced the Hulk.
Though he was green his strength was just as massive as his bulk.
Spiderman, and Thor, the cartoon heroes, tried to save
our world from the destruction that the villains always craved.
Metropolis and Gotham have the strangest kinds of crooks. Their names set out in print are just as freaky as their looks. But what is even scarier than reading of their crime
is hearing how some real life nut jobs imitate that slime.
Kaboom! POW! AAARRRGH! Splat! Holy ammunition, Batman!!
Here comes another restriction!!!!
I guess it’s just imaginations hoping to be shocked
like gamers that are hooked on how their Smith and Wesson’s cocked. But surely counting up opponents killed on Level One
benumbs the mind to all the havoc loosed with one’s own gun.
This isn’t touting recall of the weapons that exist
In fact the song I’m singing here will not present a twist. We’ve come too far along this path for such a simple plan to think that taking guns away will take the sin from man.
KaBoom! POW! AAARRRGH! Splat! Holy ammo clips, Batman!!
Watch out for retroactive inclusions!!!!
The reasons for gun violence are multiple and mean.
Society has sanctioned bad behavior we have seen.
With drugs and gangs and disrespect for cops, with no pretense, A lot of us are safer packing heat for self-defense.
Until the time arrives when all the bad guys lose their guns
we’ve got to help the good guys, yes we know that we’re the ones who hopefully will never need the force a pistol gives,
but let me make the difference in deciding if I live.
KaBoom! POW!
KaBoom! POW!
Kaboom! POW!
Splat! Splat! AAARGHHHHHHHhhhhhhh!!!!!
