Lyrics:

Things began to change, things began to change……….. many years ago, many years ago.

No one noticed then,…… because the change was slow, cuz the change was slow.

Folks thought all of it was progress….as our morals slipped, as our morals slipped.

We found that we were fallible….in Nam our wings got clipped, our wings got clipped.

.

Suburbs were expandin’……outside of L.A, outside of L.A.

Berkeley’s hippies tokin’….. by the Frisco Bay, by the Frisco Bay.

Junior soccer foes we crushed…. for the district cup, for the district cup.

were happy they got trophies….just for showin’ up, just for showin’ up.

And it always seemed to me…. to be kind of odd, to be kind of odd.

When they tried to change the Pledge and remove the words…”Under God, Under God”.

California demons, California demons…. will show us how to play, how to play…..

California demons, California demons…. just wanted it that way…..

Somewhere along the line….our legislators changed, they became deranged.

Their priorities got bent……. totally rearranged, lookin’ for loose change.

Pension plans were folding…… state funds were running out, (running out.

We were told they’d fix our border, good luck with that, and save us from the drought, our

     water’s runnin’ out.

California demons, California demons.… seem to get their way, seem to get their way.

California demons, California demons.…. will haunt you every day, every day.

Social media, and the internet, are wreaking havoc on our young

Spending hours on their phones, ignoring exercise for fun.

Peer pressure takes its toll on sexual roles, as does online porn.

Gender pronouns are confusing, no matter how you’re born.

California demons, California demons…. just wanted it that way, just wanted it that way.

California demons, California demons. ….are evil every day, every day.

Hollywood and athletes….. think that they’re such gods, they’re such gods.

Lookin’ down their noses, they lecture us, like we’re the dumbest clods, like we’re the dumbest

     clods.

While they feel so high and mighty, and secure, safe behind their walls, safe behind their walls.

Most elitists now have joined them….. in their hallowed halls, in

  their hallowed halls.

California’s leavin’, California’s leavin’…..oughta let her go, yep, let her go!…..

Since she’s already left, since she’s already “Left”…and it really shows, it really shows.

People that can bail….are packin’ up their freight

Cuz the cost of living’s nuts here…..in this welfare state, in this welfare state.

With a sanctuary status….so the Feds can’t help, and killer crooks can hide.

Angel moms are disavowed….as are their kids that died, kids that died.

The suburbs are still boomin’… way outside of L.A, way outside of L.A.

Streets are getting crappy…..near the Frisco Bay, slip and fall near the Bay.

My heart goes out to those…. who’ll never get away, never get away.

But there’s something on my mind…. that I’ve just gotta say, that I’ve just gotta say.

Jesus tamed demons in the Bible… in a special way, in a special way.

Now I hope some pigs are listening…. when to God I pray, when to God I pray.

My apologies to porkers in advance for their sacrifice, for their sacrifice.

By eliminating demons California might be kinda nice, yes a paradise!

No more California demons, California demons, I like that sound, Californioa demons.

No more California demons, California demons, no none at all, California demons.

No more California demons, California demons.…mmmm….

            No more California demons…
