Absolutely

6:28

Song Description:

This song encourages the listener to read and research broadly throughout

life, to compare different worldviews, which ultimately should lead to the

belief of the existence of  greater power than humanity.

Lyrics:

Don’t wait ’til that moment or day when you die

to recognize proof that there’s absolute truth.

You might miss your chance for a spiritual high

by denying some knowledge acquired in your youth.

Truth isn’t relative, it rules us all,

but some are still certain their ways are their own.

Though gravity proves that the apple will fall,

their Sunday school lessons were lost as they’ve grown.

Commitment is something agnostics can’t bear.

It may be a fear of the things they might find.

With efforts to verify what, when, and where,

our Lord’s interaction would bring peace of mind.

If you have a question that goes beyond your sphere

resources are numerous, you need to lend an ear, lend an ear.

The atheist firmly insists on denial,

but logic’s unable to prove there’s no God.

Without the possession of facts for the trial

their certainty strikes me as being quite odd.

If there is a question whose answer you would see

it may require research, but lots smarter you will be, you will be.

A humanist thinks he’s the ultimate source

in seeing that choices conform to his plan.

That’s proven through history to be a poor course.

The problems exist in the frailties of man.

So plan to have an open mind so fairly you can weigh

the basis of competing views. Be critical today.

Solutions are meaningful when all the tests

are done by the ones who’re affected the most.

Which means for conclusions to capture your trust

you must invest effort to find your guidepost.

To weigh all my options, and I’ve done this resolutely,

the question was, “Do I choose Christ?”….the answer “ABSOLUTELY”.

If you’ve truly done your homework, then the outcome that I see

is you’ll put your faith in Jesus, and the truth will set you free.

Yes, you’ll put your faith in Jesus, and the truth will set you free.
